6. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requires the following permissions:

• activeTab: To capture screenshots of the current tab when you activate the snipping mode
• scripting: To inject content scripts that enable the selection overlay
• storage: To save your extension settings and preferences locally
• tabs: To capture visible tab screenshots
• host_permissions (all_urls): To work on any website you visit

Important: We only capture screenshots when you explicitly activate the snipping mode (Ctrl+Shift+S or Cmd+Shift+S). We do not monitor or capture your browsing activity otherwise.
